Which Car Seats are Compatible with Uppababy Vista and Cruz?

Uppababy is a top leading brand, and many parents have them. If you are included in that category and want a compatible car seat for your prams then, this article is all about that.

Uppababy does have its own branding car seat which is the Mesa, but it’s not THE best in the market and you might want a better one. Although it’s quality.

I will list the car seats that are compatible with the Vista models and Cruz models.

Car Seats for Uppababy Vista and Cruz Models.

Uppababy Vista came out in 2014 and it has had updates every year. So, it can be confusing to know which of the models matches the available car seats.

The Cruz is from 2011.

Adapters are also the problem. Not all adapters match the Uppababy Vista. Down below I will link where you can buy all the available adapters. (You will need separate adapters if you want to use the double mode for Vista).

Uppababy Vista and Cruz Car Seat Compatibility: From 2015 – Present.

  • UPPAbaby MESA.
  • Chicco KeyFit 35, KeyFit 30, KeyFit 30 Zip, KeyFit 30 Zip Air, Fit2, Fit2 Air (with adapter)
  • Clek Liing (with adapters)
  • Cybex Aton series (with adapters, link to Aton 5 on Amazon).
  • Maxi-Cosi Mico Max 30, Mico Max Plus, Mico AP, Mico NXT, Mico, Citi, Cabrio and CabrioFix (with adapters)
  • Nuna PIPA, PIPA RX, PIPA Lite, PIPA Lite R, PIPA Lite RX, and PIPA Lite LX (with ring adapter by Nuna or post adapters by UPPAbaby)
  • Peg-Perego Primo Viaggio 4-35 and 4-35 Nido (with adapters)

When it comes to the Uppababy Mesa infant car seat you can use it without adapters for all Vista and Cruz models. Including the 2014 versions.

Visit Strolleria for more information on where you can find the adapters for that and which adapter you need for all of these car seats.

Uppababy Cruz Has an Exception.

Since the Cruz has had the same similar design since it came out which was 2011 all the models are compatible with each of the car seats.

It’s not also a double tandem stroller, so of course, you won’t need the double adapters. (Information for does who plan on buying one of the models).

So, whichever stroller version you own these car seats are perfect for that.

Why Parents Would Need a Different Car Seat Model?

The Uppababy Mesa infant car seat is already a great car seat and one of the best in the market. Plus you don’t need adapters if you are using the Uppababy strollers.

You will have to spend around £30 maybe to buy adapters and it can be more for the double adapters. That’s more to the budget.

So, why are parents willing to buy other car seats?

Well, it can be about safety when looking at the crash test. Quality with the materials and fabrics, age range, I Size compliant or not, etc.

Soo many things to list. The Uppababy Mesa infant car seat for example is not better than the Aton 5 which came out not long ago.

The Mesa is excellent, but maybe not for all lifestyles. Parents don’t mind adding some extra pounds to get the best option for their little ones.

It’s also only compatible with Uppababy strollers.

It’s not that complicated when it comes to these models. Both are compatible with the same car seats, you have a few exceptions but in general, they are the same.

This makes it easy for the parents searching for whichever model you have. If you are buying a stroller as well, I would advise you to buy the whole bundle.

Its cheaper that way, that’s if you want the Mesa.

Which Vista or Cruz model do you have? I hope you found what you were looking for.

  1. I never heard of the top push chairs. Never seen the product in my country. Is it known worldwide available. We are looking for a seat that can turn into stroller as well. Also at a average budget. Will this brand satisfy our needs? Thank you for the relevation of this brand.
