Thule Urban Glide Bassinet Review.

If you own any of the Thule Urban Glide or Urban models then this carrycot/bassinet is good to buy. The bassinet is quite cosy and it’s very easy to travel with.

In this article, I will detail the pros and cons of this carrycot.

Product: Thule Urban Glide Bassinet.

My Ranking: 9/10.

If you already have the Thule Urban Glide Stroller then this bassinet/carrycot transform it to a pram for your little one, age 0-6 months. Providing a comfortable place for them to relax and enjoy the ride.

Goes with all three Thule Urban Glide model strollers, no need to find another one. The fabrics are in excellent quality and provide a warm environment for your baby to be in.

Let’s look Into the details and see what we can find.

There are an easy click installation and removal. It makes it easy and fast to use. If you need to remove the bassinet/carrycot to wash it or when you need to fix it for a stroll with your baby it won’t take much of your time. Dealing with newborns or babies, in general, can take much of your time, so it’s best not to spend more time.

You can fold the Thule Urban Glide Bassinet flat and store it in a tiny space. Bassinets/Carrycots can be folded but not all of them can be folded completely flat.

The Thule Urban Glide Bassinet comes with a canopy and extended sun cover for protection against the sun and other weather conditions. Protecting newborns or babies from winds, rain and sun are more important because they are more vulnerable.

A mesh cover for protection from the sun, rain and insects, although to be more covered from insects is good to buy a Stroller Mosquito Net. Check the link to see some reviews I did.

The Bassinet/carrycot is compatible with the Thule Urban Glide 2, the double one and Thule Glide 2. If you can only find the strollers then it’s good to know that you have the bassinet/carrycot that’s sold separately. Sometimes you might not find the pram or Travel System in your local area or it might be expensive.

The colour of the bassinet/carrycot is black and it’s bulky and big providing a comfortable and relaxing place to be in.

  • Compatible with 3 stroller models, which provides more options for parents.
  • Hight quality bassinet/carrycot.
  • Comes with some features, that provides safety for your baby.
  • With a 30-day return policy, you have the chance to return the product if you are not satisfied.

  • Although the bassinet is suitable for the Thule brand, it’s not suitable for other brands, so you can only buy it if you already have a Thule Stroller and a normal one, not a jogging stroller.
  • The price can be expensive for some people. For £186.99 you can buy a brand new Travel System from a different brand of course. The brand might not have high-quality strollers and may not be popular.
  • The colour is limited, for some parents, the colour is extremely important.

The Missing Piece.

The Thule Urban Glide Bassinet is the missing piece. It’s the missing piece you need to complete your stroller to a pram for your baby’s comfort. Many single strollers are suitable from birth with the reclining positions that exist, but a bassinet/carrycot is more likely to provide a better environment for babies.

Some companies only sell the base of a stroller, without a seat or carrycot/bassinet and they sell it cheap. You would only need to buy a bassinet/carrycot and a seat for your toddler.

It can also be the missing piece you need for the double stroller. You might get the single or the double stroller as a gift f0r your newborn. The seat is not always the better option for your newborn and if you want a bassinet/carrycot you have the possibility of buying it.

If you see a parent pushing a pram is either a newborn or a baby are 0-6 months laying there because the carrier is designed to suit that age, not toddlers. So, the bassinet/carrycot is the missing piece you will need for your baby.

So, getting the missing piece is essential for your baby’s comfort
