Nuna Pepp Next Stroller: Review.

Product: Pepp Next.

Price: £250.00

Size of the Product:  L 88 x W 54.3 X H 104cm.

The Place to Buy: Kiddies-kingdom, Click here.

My Rating: 8.5/10.

For travellers this stroller is indeed made for them. It has everything you will need. Although it won’t fit into an aeroplane cabin, it still can be used to travel with.

The Pepp Next stroller has compact fold and the wheels are place in way to make it look like a suitcase. Suitable from birth with the lie-flat option.

It weighs 9.3kg which is not that heavy to carry. The stroller also stands on its own when folded. Which makes it easy to carry or push around the whole journey.

Of course, if not for travelling the stroller is perfect for the city, and other lifestyles. It has front and rear suspension wheels to give a smooth ride.

According to the manufacturers it makes it easy to push with one hand. If you live in narrow streets or visits them a lot, then the Nuna Pepp is build just for that.

With the lockable front swivel wheels steering the buggy won’t be hard. Besides from the lie flat position the Pepp Next stroller also offers other positions.

2 of them in fact, which makes it possible for your toddler or baby to sit upright, and have a near lie flat position. The seat is deep and spacious.

It will be perfect for many overweight children, and it has a unique design, unlike some other strollers. Nice padded fabrics that will serve you for a while.

More Features.

The seat also offers an adjustable leg rest, also called calfrest. This is perfect for your toddlers afternoon naps. Their legs and feet won’t be left hanging, which can be uncomfortable sometimes.

We all know the whole body needs to rest to get a proper sleep. A 3 or 5 point harness system which has a quick release button. In my review of strollers I haven’t come across this option.

So, you can either use the 3 point harness, which doesn’t involve the hips, or the 5 point harness which does. You can pick and choose.

Next you have the canopy. Nuna offers a canopy that has UPF50+ sun protection with eyeshade and a dream drape. Covering your baby fully.

Giving them a nice environment to sleep in. They will be protected from other elements too. With the purchase you have a rain cover.

The hood can be removed when folding the stroller so it makes it easier when travelling. It also makes the stroller even more compact.

A one system brake. Which means you need to press one brake for the buggy to stop. Using your foot. In emergencies this can come in handy.

The Pepp buggy it’s available in soo many colours. You have many colours which allows you to choose anyone that will suit your lifestyle.

Also it’s car seat compatible. The famous Nuna Pipa car Seats, and any of the car seats, which we will discuss now. You also have Maxi Cosi car seats to fit it with.

The Nuna Next Travel System: Pipa Car Seat Review.

Product: Pipa Lite LX.

Price: £300.00. (With base).

Size of the Product:  L 69 x W 44 X H 57cm

Delivery: Muiltple options.

My Rating: 9.5/10.

Suitable from birth up to 13kg which is around 15 month’s. It can be more or less for your baby. Just like any other car seat the Pipa Lite Lx has side impact protection.

Which keeps baby protected and it also offers 3 point harness system. Adjustable cushioned body and head parts. A canopy with eyeshade to keep baby cosy and protected.

The canopy also offers UPF50+ sun protection. This car seat is suitable with all Nuna strollers. Just incase you plan on buying another in the future.

It comes with a base, but you can also use the seat belt if your car is compatible, which most cars are. If you are interested in buying a Maxi Cosi car seat view my review of that one.

You will need adapters to fit the car seat on the stroller. It won’t be easy but a manual always come with it.

  • For a single stroller it cost money. It’s not cheap.
  • It’s not suitable with a carrycot like some Nuna pushchairs.
  • Does not have adjustable handlebar.
  • The wheels are not the best. No all terrain or puntured proof tyres.
  • Only suitable up to to 18kg which is 3 years plus. You might need it more than that.
  • Not double convertible which means it’s only for one child.
  • The basket is not the biggest, and it’s not easy to reach when the seat lies flat which makes it a bit useless for the first 6 months.
  • It’s only forward facing.
  • Because of how it’s build a buggy board might not be suitable. Ask when you are buying. A buggy board will help you out later on.
  • The car seat is only compatible with Nuna pushchairs.
  • You need aďapters to fit it in.
  • Fixing the car seat on the buggy is said to be complicated and not an easy task.
  • Although it states that your baby will lie flat, it has been reported not to give the best lie flat option. (This might not be your case).

Nuna Pepp Next Stroller vs Other Strollers.

What other popular strollers are out there for families? Strollers that compete with the Pepp Next stroller. These are strollers that would have almost the same value in the market.

Weather it’s the price or the features and quality. It’s for these reason why I chose the Quinny Zapp Flex Plus and the Mamas and Papas Armadillo pushchair.

These strollers are not compared with each other, so I might be the first one.

Pepp Next Stroller vs Quinny Zapp Flex Plus.

Not that much similar in style, but both are somehow lightweight, and offers compact fold. Other similarities they share are these:

  • Suitable from birth up to around 3 years.
  • Compact fold with seat.
  • 5 point harness system.
  • Travel System ready.
  • Medium size basket
  • Somehow bug canopy with sun protection.

The Zapp Flex Plus it’s compatible with a carrycot and cocoon, which allows your baby to lie flat. It’s the best option.

It also offers a one-hand recline on the seat. Fabrics are resistant to water, and the Zapp Flex Plus is both forward and rear facing.

Nunas buggy offers more features. It has all suspension wheels, lockable wheels and has an amazing canopy. It’s suitable up to 18kg while is above 3.

3 reclining on the seat and more, the fèatires have been discussed above. The other one lacks all these, but the Pepp Next stroller is heavier and does not offer rear facing.

The Pepp Next stroller is the winner because of the features, and quality fabrics. It will last longer with the family and will make be perfect pushchair for travellers.

Pepp Next Stroller vs Mamas and Papas Armadillo

Less similar to this one than the one above, but have they share the same spot and can compete with each other. Both have fans of parents, and the features might be the reason. They share these similarities:

  • Suitable from birth with the lie-flat seat.
  • Reclining positions.
  • Compact fold.
  • 5 point harness system.
  • Forward-facing only.
  • Adjustable leg rest.
  • Lockable front wheels.
  • Both are suitable with Maxi Cosi car seats.
  • Big canopy with UPF50+.

Although not that similar in design they share many features. The mamas and papas Armadillo pushchair has one hand fold system.

A magnetic peek a boo, bigger seat, it’s the same price as well, but it lacks all the features the other one has to offer besides these above.

Again, the Pepp Next stroller wins this battle. It does really have many things to offer, and some are better. At the end of the day the choice is yours.

An Unusual, but Quality Stroller.

Wouldn’t you agree that the Pepp Next stroller is unusual because of the designed. How it’s folded and how it will look after fixing the car seat.

It does make a bit complicated but somehow looks quality. Is the buggy for any traveller to enjoy themselves with. Not the lightest there is but light enough to push around with one hand.

What are your thoughts on this stroller?
