Nipper Single V4 Pushchair.

Product: Nipper Single 360 V4 Travel System.

Price: £532.00 (travel system price).

Size of the Product:  61.5cm x 97cm x 116cm

Delivery: Multiple options.

My Rating: 9/10.

This specific Nipper Single V4 is called 360 because it has 360-degree lockable swivel front wheels. The wheels allow you to manoeuvre through narrow areas, and when you ready to use other means it can be locked forwardly.

The new upgraded version is suitable from birth up to 4 years, which can be less or more depending on your little one. The pushchair seat offers a lie-flat option.

Which as we all know it’s better for newborns because of their necks and heads. The seat also offers reclining positions which gives you the option to place your child in many positions.

An extra accessory is the removable seat liner. The V4 also offers a bumper that can be removed. This allows you to place and take out your child from the stroller at ease.

A 5 point harness system is always there to the rescue. It helps keep your child safe and secure by strapping their body, so they won’t fall easily.

More Features.

A sun canopy or hood with a peek a boo window. Perfect for any weather. Well, just minor ones. Your newborn or toddler will be well protected from the sun’s nasty UV.

The peek a boo window is good to use when your baby is not facing you. To keep an eye on them instead of an emergency, or if they need anything.

You don’t have to lean forward or go all the way front to check on them. Moving on to the frame or chassis. You got an adjustable handlebar, perfect for many heights.

When folding it the Nipper Single V4 has an auto-lock system, which means if you fold it, it locks automatically. It makes it quicker and more compact.

It offers 90-degree air-filled tyres and all rear suspension wheels. All of this makes it easier to push with comfort, and easier to use in different places. However, it’s not an all-terrain pushchair.

You have a one system lock brake. You need to use your foot to brake the pushchair, which is super easy and helpful. I have the same feature and it comes in handy when using.

It comes with pockets and a large shopping basket for anything you want to store. You can use the pockets to store keys or your phone.

Its travel system convertible with a car seat and carrycot. The Nipper Single V4 also comes in many colours and also offers other additional features, which I will state below.

Accessories.

Car seats dimensions:

  • D 71.5 x W 45 x H 39 cm
  • Weight: 3.6 kg

Let’s first talk about the Out n About car seat. Suitable from birth up to 12 months which also depends on your little one. It can be used with other strollers beside this brand.

You might not need it now but this can come in handy later on. If you want to use the car seat with a base in your car the brand Maxi-Cosi will be suitable.

Moving on to the features themselves. You have a rear-facing car seat only and not a forward facing. Many car seats have this option because it’s better your small child faces you.

Shock-absorbing materials on the sides offer side protection for your baby. A harness to help keep baby strapped and not only that you have hooks installed to keep the harness away.

You have the option to adjust the harness height with a one system pull. An ergonomic handle to make things easier for parents.

You have extra inlays for newborn and a cover that can be removed and washed. Check the link for more information. Moving on to the carrycot.

The carrycot can be used with V3 and v4 pushchairs. It comes with accessories like all canopies have a hood, mattres, apron, etc.

Available for you to buy are other accessory that matches with Nipper Single V4, and these are:

  • Out n About Newborn Support.
  • Out n About Changing bag.
  • Out n About carrycot rain cover.
  • Out n About pushchair rain cover.
  • Out n About Footmuff.
  • Out n About extra storage.
  • Out n About weather cover.

Cons.

  • Forward-facing only.
  • Single pushchair can be considered expensive and even the travel system.
  • Can’t be convertible into a double stroller.
  • Available in many colours but not all.
  • Not all terrain 3 wheeler.
  • Its not the best in look compare to many 3 wheelers.

Nipper Single V4 Pushchair vs Other Popular Pushchairs.

The Nipper Single V4 pushchair has many competives because 3 wheelers are becoming very common, and many parents love to buy them.

Therefore manufacturers are making new ones. For this comparison I will compare the Out n About pushchair with other pushchairs I have done a review on already.

To give you a deeper explanation and fair comparison. I chose, therefore, the Thule Glide 2 pushchair and the Mountain Buggy terrain pushchair.

Nipper Single V4 Pushchair vs Thule Glide 2 Sport Stroller.

The Thule Glide 2 is are jogging stroller, but these two are a bit similar in style. They do differ, but have certain things to share like:

  • Travel system compatible.
  • Adjustable handle bar.
  • Lightweight.
  • Rear suspension.
  • Compact.
  • Sun cover.
  • 5 point harness system.
  • Both are forward facing only

Both of these strollers although different are similar too. The Thule Glide 2 sport pushchair has a handbrake, extendable canopy with ventilation, removable wheels and more air-filled tyres.

These are the differences, and the Nipper Single V4 also offers age suitability from birth, auto-lock system extra pockets, excellent wheels and peek a window.

The Thule Glide  2 can be used from 6 months up to 34kg, which is more than the other pushchair. It’s hard to choose between these considering both have good features.

The Thule Glide 2 pushchair is are jogging stroller which also adds to it. It depends on what you want, but both these a the same if you only consider the features, not the look.

So, the choice is yours.

Nipper Single V4 Pushchair vs The Mountain Buggy Terrain Pushchair.

These two differ in their looks because the Terrain pushchair is bigger and bulkier that one the other one, but they are both 3 wheelers. These are the similarities they share:

  • Reclining positions.
  • Adjustable handle bar.
  • Rear suspension.
  • Lightweight frame.
  • Sun canopy and peek a boo window.
  • Reversible seat liner.
  • One system brake.
  • All suspension wheels.
  • Easy fold.
  • Extra pockets.
  • Harness system with straps.

These are the main similarities and the differences are that the Terrain Pushchair offers a 3 mode carrycot which can be used for up to 3 years.

Its also offers backrest, footrest, all-terrain wheels, 2 seats of rear wheels, ventilation system, stands when folded and the age suitability is up to 5 years.

What makes the Nipper Single V4 stand out is the age suitability which is from birth. The auto lock system and offers a lighter frame.

The Mountain Buggy Terrain pushchair looks more promising, but the Nipper Single V4 can still be ideal for many parents. It’s also cheaper and easier to handle than the Terrain pushchair.

It’s up to every parent and their lifestyles.

The 3 Wheeler you Have Been Waiting for.

The 3 Wheel pushchair does offer many families many features and and accessories as seen above. What do you say? Is it the ideal pushchaiŕ for your family?

Out n About are famous for producing 3 wheelers whether it’s jogging strollers, sports strollers or just normal strollers, and by reading through this review you now know the reason for it.

What are your thoughts on these other strollers I compared them with? Which of these do you favour and why? I would like to know your choices.

  1. I like everything about this stroller. Even it’s additional features are cool. The hood with it’s peek a boo window. It reminds me of a stroller we had when I was a kid.

Thank you for helping me decide which stroller to buy for our baby. It’s nice to do well informed purchases. And with your post I know exactly what I am getting with this one.

  2. Thanks for bringing us your review of the Nipper Single V4 pushchair.

I think that the 3 wheelers have become very popular over the last few years.  They are certainly good for moving around compared to the traditional 4 wheeled models.  This model appears to have everything you need and at a reasonable price.  I therefore think that this would be a good one to buy.
