Mios (2020) and Bee 6 Frame/Chassis.
When looking at the frames you also see similarities. Both frames have adjustable handlebars and these are leather made. Moving to the actual frame.
Both frames have similar sizes and are slim and not your typical standard buggy. You fold both frames with just one hand when folded they are free-standing.
Mios and Bee 6 also offer compact folds as well. When looking at the wheels they are the size, it’s smaller than the normal big wheels most all-terrain buggies have.
All-terrain wheels one both means all suspension wheels. With these, you also have swivel lockable wheels. Pushing through narrow streets will be easier.
The wheels are 7 inches big, both front and back wheels. The baskets underneath seem to also have the same size, carrying around 5kg of weight.
Footbrakes near the wheel system to make things easy for the parent.
Both also have legrest attached to the frame and this will be excellent for your toddler, especially if they are tall. One last similarity is the choices of frames.

Differences Between the Cybex Mios (2020) and Bugaboo Bee 6.
Differences with the Mios (2020) and Bee 6 Seat Unit.
As you can see above there are many similarities but the differences are there as well. Bee 6 is suitable for up to 22kg which is around 4 years and for the former it’s 17kg.
Both offer lie-flat positions but the Cybex Mios has a more flat option. Its canopy and seat seem to be wider as well, but with Bee 6 you also can change the height of the seat.
Making it more suitable for toddlers. Bugaboo Bee 6 also has something many strollers don’t have, ventilation holes. These holes are in the seat and provide fresh air for your child.
So, it’s an adjustable length and height. The soft seat is more padded and has a detailed design, and it also provides air through its tiny breathable holes.
The Cybex Mios also offers a one-hand recline and which the Bee 6 don’t offer. This means you can hold your baby with one hand, and adjust the seat with the other hand.
Cybex Mios has the colours on both the canopy and seat, which some parents might prefer.
Differences with the Mios (2020) and Bee 6 Frame/Chassis.
So, as mentioned above both have adjustable handlebars, but the height of the bars differ. For the Mios it’s from 96.5cm up to 106.6. For the Bee 6, it’s from 91.5cm up to 109cm.
Which makes the Bee 6 more suitable for short and taller parents. For the Cybex Mios, it has a foot and legrest that’s adjustable. It’s more connected to the seat than the frame itself.
Mios also has a separate footrest underneath.
Bee 6 has a footrest only and it’s only connected to the frame. The wheels are a bit different as well. Bee 6 has tinner.
For the shopping basket, you have a net and black fabric designed with the Cybex Mios. Bugaboo Bee 6 only has black fabric.
Bee 6 has a two-wheel system meaning you can remove the front wheels and only use the back wheels. This is usually on tougher terrains to make things easier.
One last difference is the third frame Cybex offers. The rose gold frame is pretty new and more expensive than the chrome frame.
Mios (2020) and Bee 6 Weight and Dimensions.
Here are two features that are important to many parents. It can be a deciding factor for any parent. Mios has a weight of 9.9kg and its folded dimensions are L950 x W600 x H400mm.
For the Bee 6, it’s around 9.4kg and the folded dimensions are 90 cm x 46 cm x 35 cm.
This makes the Bugaboo Bee 6 a bit lighter and it has a more compact fold. It’s easier to store and travel with. However, both are easy to carry because they are between light and heavy
Mios (2020) and Bee 6 Colours and Price.
As mentioned above the Mios has the colours on the seat and canopy. These are the basic colours it offers with the three frames:
- Deep Black.
- Soho Grey.
- Autumn Grey.

For the Bugaboo Bee 6, you have black, yellow, grey, blue/grey and pink. You also have a premium option with the grey melange that has better fabrics. It’s more expensive of course.
Their prices differ as well. Looking at the Cybex Mios it’s around £629.9 for the black/chrome and single stroller. £1300+ for the whole bundle.
£679.9 for the rose gold frame. It’s also £1300+ for the whole bundle. Looking at the Bee 6 you have £580.5 for the aluminium and black frame and it’s for the single buggy. £741 for the pram (frame+seat+carrycot).
Although it lacks colours, Bee 6 is much cheaper.

Bugaboo Bee 6 is compatible with more brands and some of the best out there. Although the number of car seats both are compatible with can be the same, the Bee 6 offer you to choose from cheaper brands and also the variety is good.
Which One is Better?
It’s hard to decide really. Cybex Mios offers three frames, legrest and footrest, more and unique colours and it offers a one-hand recline as well.
On the other hand, you have the Bugaboo Bee 6 which offers breathable holes in the seat fabric and frame. It’s light, more compact, cheaper, offers more car seat brands and you are also able to use the seat much longer.
It’s hard, but when choosing a stroller most parents look at the weight, canopy, seat, wheels, fold and car seat compatibility.
Bee 6 offers better features and besides, it’s cheaper. The price is also something many look at. The colours as well, which the Bee 6 lack a bit.
It’s better if you view and compare many features. Both came out the same year, so you have the chance of saving around a minimum of £49.
The only cons these strollers have are the prices, smaller wheel systems and small baskets. The single strollers are very expensive.
Bigger wheels will offer your baby less bumpy rides and the wheels would have been more suitable for all terrains. The baskets are also not that large.
These strollers lack some features regular standard buggies have. That’s big wheels and big space.
They are only for single babies and can’t convert into double buggies.
The weight is good considering the features that are available but for some can be a bit difficult to carry.
So, the Bugaboo Bee 6 is the one you should go for, but of course, that decision will depend on your lifestyle. Always think of that first.
If you take away the expensive price Cybex Mios is great for many families. Besides, others don’t mind the price.
To conclude, both are great for the city, long-distance walks and travelling. If you have that type of life then these are great. They offer many features, and at the same time are lighter than the average standard buggy.
It’s a win-win situation for all.
